The Wilkes-Barre Area School Board now has a ninth and final member, Gary Polakoski of Wilkes-Barre Township. Monday night board members named Polakoski as the replacement for a former school director who resigned after pleading guilty to corruption. Frank Pizzella was the third member of the Wilkes-Barre Area School Board to get caught up in the corruption probe.
